I greatly enjoyed these tattood pigs from artist Wim Delvoye. I don’t know why. But i like them. I found them on a Belgian blog called Stuif-Meel that I frequent because it’s really rather good.

Fantastic, I have a friend who is learning to tattoo, I wonder if that is what’s happening here, and somehow pigs skin is a lot like humans?

alfie- yes, pig skin is very like human. a lot of tatoo’ers practice on port meat to start with. regarding these ‘live’ pigs above, surely its a bit traumatic to be doing that to them?!
i’m not an animal rights person per-se, but i wouldn’t like to be tatooed not knowing what on earth was happening to me?
