Infinity is in the park

I like this piece by Mai Yamashita and Naoto Kobayashi.. Walk around in the shape of infinity for five days in a park and this is what you get.

Infinity walking is actually a very effective therapeutic technique when combined with sensory cognitive processing. We tend to underestimate just how extraordinary the human brain is at filtering out distractions, focusing, and shifting attention back and forth rapidly between what we are doing and what is going on around us. Even seemingly simple tasks such as walking require a great deal of these abilities (particularly when related to trauma or brain injury rehab). Even carrying a small figure eight loop track and rolling a marble around it can be very helpful for bilateral coordination.
