HAMMERSHØI
I’ve been a big Hammershøi fan since I went to art school and wrote an essay on turn of the century Danish painters. I visit the Statens Museum For Kunst every time I’m in Copenhagen as there’s a great permanent collection of his work there. The Royal Academy Of Art in London, have put on the most extensive exhibition of his work shown in the UK and it’s pretty breathtaking. It’s only on until the 7th September so if you miss it, above I’ve made a little taster. Sorry about the nasty transitions, best of a bad bunch. And i had to have the video thumbnail there too so I could add the perfect Trentemoller track (he’s Danish too)
