Global Villagers
I love the way netvibes saves me lots of time otherwise spent loading pages. But now it’s my little walled garden universe so I don’t find myself straying into the rest of the internet unless I’m sent a link (usually youtube). It’s like living in a big city. We could speak to anyone (but we don’t unless we’re drunk) we could go into any shop, pub, church, alleyway (but we don’t) and instead we choose to limit ourselves to a few regular haunts. We make our own little communities in these anthills. We’re all villagers whether we like it or not.
