ANTIROM PERFORMANCE

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

This is me in the Cybertheatre in Brussels nearly 10 years ago with the Antirom RGB performance that we took to a few places (USA, Brazil, Australia, Denmark…). This is the part of the show where we jumped on pressure pads to trigger samples, loops and animations (which you can see faintly behind us on [...]

DRAW PLAY

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

David McCandless just sent me this great game after i showed him Linerider last week. Another one where you draw the course and also quite addictive. I’m thinking of starting a games company where the player just makes their own game, they just give me a cheque when they’re finished.

Juno (pictured) with their draught Moretti are on the list. Comment if you care [...]

ZOPA

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

Lending and borrowing money to and from each other, cutting the banks out, saving or making you more money, knowing that your cash isn’t funding some brutal malitia in a cash-poor-oil-rich nation somewhere near the equator and all through Poke’s new friendly design. Long live Zopa (which stands for the “zone of possible agreement”)

WARMAP

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

I love it when someone bothers to try and make sense of a complex problem. This history of the middle east war map does just that, giving some useful perspective on our current situation.

IPTV

Monday, October 16th, 2006

I like Alexander Cameron. He makes a lot of sense which is rare in the realms of any breaking trend or technology. You can read his latest article about the issues around IPTV as it starts to gather momentum. Bind your hands in something soft though as there’s some air punching moments in there and [...]
